Camper’s Checklist

Pillows. Check. Sleeping Bags...uh oh.

Here’s a basic list of camping essentials you should have with you if you’re not camping in an RV.

  • Tent (if Tenting)
  • Large Tarp
  • Rope (50-100 ft)
  • Drinking water hose and filter (for cleaner water)
  • Crock Pot
  • Camping Stove
  • Cooking ware (cooking spoons or forks, spatula etc.)
  • Seasonings
  • Hot Dog Skewers
  • Utensils, knives, plates, cups
  • Storage bags, saran wrap, aluminum foil
  • Long handled lighter
  • Camping chairs
  • Bedding + extra blankets for an air mattress (insulation) if you are using one
  • Detergent for washing
  • Clothes
  • Hand towels and wash cloths
  • Bathroom items (toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, towels, deodorant)
  • Portable electric heater (you never know)
  • Portable fan (you never know)
  • Trash bags
  • Umbrella
  • Bug Repellant
  • Camping Axe (always nice if you are going to have a fire)
  • Camping Shovel (you never know)
  • 2 way radios
